How to Sign in "web.de" Account in Regzion or Email Clients


Use the following instructions to configure your web.de email account in RegZion or any other email client (Thunderbird, Outlook, etc). Proper setup ensures successful access to emails and smooth migration.

How to Set Up web.de Email in RegZion and Other Email Clients

Step 1: Enable IMAP Access in web.de

Before using your web.de account in any app, make sure IMAP access is activated:

  • Log into your account at web.de
  • Go to Einstellungen (Settings) > POP3/IMAP Abruf
  • Enable the option "POP und IMAP-Zugriff erlauben" (Allow IMAP Access)
  • Click "Speichern" to save your changes

Step 2: Open Your Email Application

Start the email client or migration software where you want to configure your web.de account (e.g., RegZion, Thunderbird, Outlook).

Step 3: Enter Your web.de Credentials

On the account setup screen, input the following login details:

  • Email Address: Your full web.de email (e.g., you@web.de)
  • Password: Your web.de password
    If you use two-factor authentication, generate and use an app password.

Step 4: Configure Incoming and Outgoing Server

Enter the following server details into the IMAP/SMTP section for web.de account login:
