How to Configure Riseup Email in Your App

Step 1: Launch Your Email Client or Software

Start the program where you want to add your Riseup.net email account:

  • 🔄 Regzion Software (Supporting IMAP)
  • 📧 Thunderbird, Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail, or similar

Step 2: Enter Login Credentials

Input your Riseup login information:

  • Email Address: yourusername@riseup.net
  • Password: The password associated with your Riseup account

Step 3: Add Mail Server Settings

Use the following mail server configuration:

  • IMAP Server: mail.riseup.net
  • IMAP Port: 993
  • IMAP Security: SSL/TLS
  • SMTP Server: mail.riseup.net
  • SMTP Port: 465 (or 587 with STARTTLS)
  • SMTP Security: SSL/TLS or STARTTLS
  • Authentication Method: Normal Password
