How to Add Migadu Mail Account via Email Clients & External Applications


To use your Migadu Mail account with desktop or mobile email applications (like Thunderbird, Outlook, Apple Mail, Regzion Software, and others), you'll need to set up the account using custom IMAP and SMTP settings. Follow the instructions below:

Steps to Configure Migadu Mail in Third Party Apps

Step 1: Launch Your Preferred Mail Application

Start the application where you wish to use your Migadu email account:

  • 📧 Programs such as Mozilla Thunderbird, Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail, Regzion Software, or any tool that supports IMAP.

Step 2: Enter Your Account Information

Provide your Migadu mailbox credentials as follows:

  • Email Address: yourname@yourdomain.com
  • Password: The password you use to sign into your Migadu email

Step 3: Input Server Configuration Details

Set up the server settings manually using these values:

  • Incoming (IMAP) Server: imap.migadu.com
  • IMAP Port: 993
  • IMAP Encryption: SSL/TLS
  • Outgoing (SMTP) Server: smtp.migadu.com
  • SMTP Port: 465 for SSL, or 587 with STARTTLS
  • SMTP Encryption: SSL/TLS or STARTTLS
  • Username: yourname@yourdomain.com

Step 4: Finalize & Test Your Connection

Click on the "Connect" or "Test" option in your mail app. If everything is correct, the app will securely link to Migadu servers and begin syncing your mailbox.
