Set up "Hushmail" for Third-Party App Login

Follow these below mentioned steps to configure Hushmail account with software like- Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, Regzion IMAP Backup & Migration Tool, etc.

Disable Two-Factor Authentication Use Credentials in Regzion

Step 1: Disable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in Hushmail account

1 ) Log in to your account at hushmail.com.

2 ) Click on the menu icon " ☰ " and select Preferences.

3 ) Hit on Security open the associated tab.

4 ) Check the Two Step Verification (if enabled, the diable it).

⚠️ Important: Disabling 2FA reduces your account's security. Re-enable 2FA after completing configuration in third party app.

Step 2: Use Your Credentials in Regzion or Other Apps

1 ) Open the Regzion software or the app in which you want to login hushmail account.

2 ) Enter the following Hushmail email settings:

  • IMAP Server: imap.hushmail.com
  • IMAP Port: 993 (SSL)
  • SMTP Server: smtp.hushmail.com
  • SMTP Port: 465 (SSL)
  • Username: Your full Hushmail email address
  • Password: Your main Hushmail account password (2FA must be off)

3 ) Test the connection and proceed with your backup or migration job.
