How to Set Up "GMX Mail" in Third-Party Apps?


GMX Mail supports IMAP/SMTP access, making it easy to use with third-party apps like Regzion, Outlook, or Thunderbird. Follow this guide to enable access and configure GMX settings for smooth email integration.

Step 1: Enable IMAP Access in GMX

1 ) Go to GMX Mail and log in to your account.

2 ) Click on the gear icon (⚙️) at the top right and select Settings.

3 ) In the left panel, click on POP3 & IMAP.

4 ) Check the box for "Enable access to this account via POP3 and IMAP".

5 ) Click Save to apply the changes.

Step 2: Allow Third-Party App Access

1 ) In the same GMX Settings panel, locate any option labeled as "Allow access by third-party applications" (may appear under security or email settings).

2 ) Enable or toggle ON this option if available.

3 ) If GMX prompts security alerts, verify your account via OTP or secondary email.

Step 3: Configure GMX Mail in Regzion Software or Other Apps

1 ) Open Regzion Software and fill in the following email configuration fields:

  • IMAP Server: imap.gmx.com
  • IMAP Port: 993 (SSL)
  • SMTP Server: mail.gmx.com
  • SMTP Port: 465 (SSL)
  • Username: Your full GMX email address
  • Password: Your GMX login password

2 ) Test the connection inside Regzion.

3 ) Once successful, you can now send and receive emails using your GMX Mail in Regzion or any third-party email app.
