How to Set Up Freenet Mail in Regzion and Other Email Clients

Step 1: Open Your Email Client / Application

Launch your email application (e.g., Regzion, Thunderbird, Outlook, etc) in which you want to configure Freenet Mail account.

Step 2: Enter Your Freenet Mail Credentials

Go to the account configuration/settings screen in your email client and enter the following details:

  • Email Address: Your full Freenet email address (e.g., you@freenet.de)
  • Password: Your Freenet Mail account password

Step 3: Configure IMAP and SMTP Settings

Next, configure the incoming and outgoing server settings for IMAP and SMTP. Enter the following details:

  • IMAP Server: imap.freenet.de
  • IMAP Port: 993
  • IMAP Encryption: SSL/TLS
  • SMTP Server: smtp.freenet.de
  • SMTP Port: 465
  • SMTP Encryption: SSL/TLS

Step 4: Test Connection and Sync

Click on the Connect / Login or other available buttons in your email client to authenticate and synchronize with Freenet Mail. Your account should now be ready for use.

Step 5: Start Using Your Freenet Mail

Once the setup is complete, you can send, receive, and manage your Freenet Mail messages directly from platform in which you added your account.
